Testimonial
from our last litter
Art,

the pup is great...I named him Parker Mountain Sage Boomer...Parker is the
call name.  I do research on sage-grouse, and he has already been a trememdous
help.  In his first season last fall he pointed 6 different species of upland
game, from quail to pheasants, but mostly hunted chukar.  He is the best
singles dog I've ever seen.  He wasn't big enough ranging in his first season
to find coveys all that often, but once a covey is broken up, he'll pick up
every last single.  A great retriever and dead bird finder, and the easiet pup
I ever trained.  He learned whoa in 3 days, come in 2, and heel took a wopping
5 days, and it all stuck from that one hard week of training.  All I do now is
little reminders.  He's starting to get some independence and I hope to see
some greater range out of him this coming season.  He's been an absolute
pleasure...I'd take a hundred more like him.

I'll send pics later,

Dave

Art,

I am sorry that I am way overdue in sending a photo of "Mattie" (from Mike
and Ivy last winter).  She is well, and we love her, and she is more than we
had hoped for.

We have mainly been working her on pheasants and she is a joy to watch.  She
is intense and intelligent.

This photo is not a great one of her, but I have not taken any of her in
action as I have been trying to work the boys with the dog.  I am afraid
that concentrating on photography at this point, seems like just one too
many things, while we are hunting.

Mattie has a naturally big range, and I think that ultimately she will be a
great dog on partridges.

Thanks for the opportunity and the dog.
